Achieving business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and implementing sales. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
Applicant MUST BE A RESIDENT OF LAGOS
Attend at least 8 sales meetings per week (ALL EXPENSES PAID FOR BY COMPANY) Organize 1 public awareness activity per month. Making required number of sales calls
Identify and secure new opportunities Identify consumer requirements Recognize defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses. Forecast projected business and establishing targeted market share within timeline. Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing and implementing sales action plans. Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development. Plan, organize and produce all e-mail campaigns, and social media marketing. Collect and provide information by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trend from field activities. Advertise and sell company’s products and services to current and perspective customers. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. Follow up on new leads and referrals. Discover sales prospects and contact them. Make preparations of presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Arrange a number of status reports, for example activities, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals. Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets? Plan, organize and produce all e-mail campaigns, and social media marketing Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan Protect organizations values by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A university degree in marketing, business studies or related course with a minimum of 2:1 (second-class upper honors) and minimum of four years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities. A Master’s degree in related fields is a plus. Should demonstrated in-depth knowledge of sales/marketing techniques, business development and financial principles. Ability to write business proposals. Must be proactive, open minded, and MUST HAVE ENTERPRENEURAL SPIRIT Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies Interested in career development Creative imagination and high problem solving abilities Possess excellent negotiation and communication skills (written & oral) A standard of computer literacy is a plus
