We are a one-stop shop for financial advisory services and business assurance. With a professional staff strength of over 80 highly qualified and dedicated personnel, SIAO has consulted for various clients at all levels in a broad range of services including Strategic planning, Financial advisory, Project evaluation, and Financial systems design and upgrade.As a result of transformational restructuring of the society, the client seeks to recruit outstanding professionals, highly motivated and result oriented candidates into the following positions

  • General manager
    The ideal candidate will manage and provide executive support to the executive committee on the day to day running of the society in terms of its human resources and investments. In addition, he/she will provide strong leadership and direction In managing the contributions of members and will jointly be accountable for the Profit and Loss in business operations.

    Qualification, Skills and Competencies
    •First degree in management science or related field.
    •Minimum of 10 years managerial experience.
    •Strong leadership, team building, project management, business development and profit improvement planning skills.
    •Sound knowledge of strategic business planning. corporate governance and effective liaison with industry regulators,
    •Good knowledge of product development In microfinance banking services sector and consumer multipurpose co-operative business.
    •Entrepreneurial drive, strategic motivation and influencing skills.
    •Excellent track record of compliance with corporate governance and ethics, Excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
    •Banking/consumer multipurpose co-operative work experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
    •Experience:   10 year(s)

  • Head of Operation
    The ideal candidate will be responsible for the achievement of investments/business plans and facilitate efficient service delivery to members of the society. He/she will develop and manage budget as well as support strategic initiatives of the society. In addition to this, the job holder will be required to Identify and implement continuous operational improvement programmes for the society.

    Qualification, Skills and Competencies
    •First degree in management science or related discipline, Preferably accounting.
    •ACA or any other recognized professional certificate will be an added advantage.
    •Minimum of 5 years experience in branch operations of a commercial! microfinance bank or consumer multipurpose co-operative society,
    •Excellent track record of compliance with corporate governance and integrity. Sound budget and business plan implementation skills.
    •Basic customer relationship management skills.
    •Excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
    •Hands on knowledge of Excel, and accounting software such as SAGE ERP or Peachtree would be an added advantage
    Experience:         5 year(s)

  • Head, Finance and Administration
    The ideal candidate will manage member’s contributions, establish appropriate financial control and investment risk. He/She will also, render timely and accurate management/reports to the executive committee as well as design administrative systems and structure, implement performance and human resources policies and programmes.

    Qualification, Skills and Competencies
    •First degree in management science or related discipline, Preferably Accounting,
    • . ACAor any other recognized professional will be an added advantage.
    •Minimum of 8 years cumulative work experience in finance and administrative functions, 5 of which must have been In a managerial role.
    •Strong skills In financial report and budgeting as well as interpretation,
    Knowledge of designing systems/structures and the implementation of performance management, compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection as well as reward systems.
    •Hands on knowledge of Excel, and accounting software packages will be an added advantage. Excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills.

  • Head, Information and Technology
    The ideal candidate will manage the I.T infrastructures and required to have sound understanding and usage of operating system packages and applications. In addition. He/she needs to be versatile with local and wide area networking technologies.

    •First degree in Computer Science or related field.
    •Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology.
    •Demonstrated competence in operating system packages/applications.
    •Hardware troubleshooting and network operating system.
    •Additional IT qualification will be an added advantage.
    •Excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
