Caleb University is a Federal Government licensed Private University, which had commenced Academic and Service activities since January, 2008, has vacancies the following Academic and Non-teaching Positions. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified candidates for the positions listed below:

ACADEMIC STAFF VACANCIES

• Quantity Surveying Programme: Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Quantity Surveying with background in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Building or Architecture.

• Professor of Law

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

PROFESSOR
• PhD with at least 12 years Post-qualification experience in University teaching, and research in the relevant areas.
• Candidate must have a good record of scholarly publications along with evidence of considerable teaching and supervision of research as well as demonstrable capacity for academic leadership.
• Candidates are expected to be registered with the various recognized professional bodies, as well as have lCT proficiency.

READER
• As for Professor, with at least 10 years post-qualification experience.

SENIOR LECTURER
• PhD with at least 6 years post-qualification cognate experience buttressed with a reasonable level of publication, and ICT proficiency.

LECTURER
• PhD with a wide span of placement depending on years of teaching and research experience along with publications record, and ICT proficiency.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
• University Librarian Candidates should possess a good Honours degree with at least 12 years post qualification experience,
• 8 years of which should be in Senior Management position in a University, similar institution of higher learning or comparable establishments.
• The candidate must be well published in recognized and reputable journals.
• He/She must possess requisite skills to manage and further develop ICT oriented Library

DEPUTY UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN
• Candidates should possess a good Honours degree with at least 10 years post qualification experience, 6 years of which should be in Senior Management position in a University, similar institution of higher learning or comparable establishments.
• The candidate must be well published in recognized and reputable journals.
• He/She must possess requisite skills to manage and further develop ICT oriented Library
Note: In exceptional cases, candidates with good Masters Degree, and the highest Professional qualification and experience in their respective professions, who have advanced in their Doctoral programmes will be considered. However, such appointments will be at a level commensurate with their qualifications.

Non-Teaching Staff
Department of Works and Physical Planning

Director
• A good Honours Degree in Civil Engineering,
• COREN registered with at least 12 years cognate experience

Deputy Director
• A good Honours Degree in Civil Engineering,
• COREN registered with at least 10 years cognate experience

Senior Physical Planning Officer
• A good Honours Degree in Tropical/Urban/Regional Planning,
• NITP with at least 6 years of cognate experience

Registry
Deputy Registrar

• A good Honours Degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division (2), a Masters Degree in Social & Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Law or Humanities with at least 10 years cognate/post qualification experience and ICT proficiency

Principal Assistant Registrar
• A good Honours Degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division (2), a Masters Degree in Social & Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Law or Humanities with at least 8 years cognate/post qualification experience and ICT proficiency

Bursary Department
University Bursar

• ACCA or ACMA or ICAN, ANAN and 12 years cognate experience.
• A Masters Degree would be an added advantage.
• Candidates must be highly proficient in the use of Electronic Accounting Packages

Deputy Bursar
• ACCA or ACMA or ICAN, ANAN and 12 years cognate experience.
• A Masters Degree would be an added advantage.
• Candidates must be highly proficient in the use of Electronic Accounting Packages

Salary Package
As it operates in the Nigerian University system
